Mysterious Connections?

The Hoover Dam.  The Panama Canal.   The Colosseum.   The Pyramid of the Moon.  The Pyramid of the Sun.  The Egyptian Pyramids.  The Sphinx.  Stonehenge.  The Sydney Opera House.  The Autobahn.  The Parthenon.  The Great Wall.

What is it that connects these international treasures, travelled to and sightseen by millions?  Without going too Science Fiction on you, one possibility is really not even that mysterious at all.

The answer is “JOB CREATION”.

Innovate.  Invent.  Invest.

In creating these structures corresponding civilizations and communities worked overcoming many obstacles, solidly together, to build sometimes brick by brick, stone by stone, all the way to the moon and back.  Yes, not necessarily the Moon Elevator.  Steps.  Steps taken one small toehold at a time.

Was the Leadership ever perfect..  no..  not always.  Did it take genius?  Yes.  Did it take manpower?  Yes.  Did it take dedication?  Totally.  Vision?  Indeed.  Vision by one person?  No way.  It took a tremendous number of people of all personality types and skill levels, utilizing strength, determination, willpower, achievement, and the urge to be satisfied.

Creating the marvels of the world not only created jobs for individuals giving purpose and fortitude, national pride and sentimentality for sometimes centuries, but also created an entirely new category of wealth creation for the places in which they preside.  The Tourist Industry thrives on such places.  Hence the New Industry of Tourism was born.

You may say, we now no longer live in the Industrial Age.  This is true.  Tourism is an Industry.  We now live in the Informational Age of Technology.  How will you create your monument?  Who will be your tourists?

Some suggest that we are moving into an Age of Wisdom.  Really?  That sounds exciting.  What will that look like?  “Certainly there must be intelligent life somewhere in the Universe.”  I learned that from watching “Ancient Aliens” on the History Channel.  That intelligent life could be *YOU!*  How can you take little steps to Innovate, Invent, Invest?  What kind of difference will it make?

How can you create something wise, certainly doable, positive, and new? How can you encourage others to help in a positive way? How will it be good for mankind?  How will it engage all the senses?  What new revenue generator might come as a possibility?  What will you invent?  Who will be invested?  How will you invest of yourself?

Maybe you can build, strengthen, revitalize or help by creating something not thought of before or visualized prior, but very positive and good.  Maybe simply helping with something that needs revitalization would be a tremendous solution.

Could a solution be addressing a problem?  Yes.  Definitely first, solution building can be a key catalyst in Job Creation.  If you’re looking to a bold new frontier, however, innovation, inventing, and investing are *ALL THAT*.
